I am Akansha, MBA graduate from Panjab University living in city beautiful Chandigarh. I started Budding Star in the year 2017. Budding Star (www.budingstar.com) is Northern India’s first parenting website for making the parenting journey smooth. Our focus areas are child and woman’s health and their smart living. It’s a blogging platform where mothers share their parenting experiences and can get answers to all their queries related to baby and child care. BS is all about motherhood, parenting, baby and child care. In November 2017, I started Facebook closed community called Parenting Mom Style (PMS) only for Indian Moms & To-be Moms to share their queries and experiences. And now it has become one of the most trusted & award winning community of India having 62K plus members. Recently, PMS won best FB Group Award 2023 by Women’s Web. Every day in the community, we come across posts wherein moms inquire about the jobs. We have started an initiative called #PMSClassified & #PMSCommunitySupoort wherein we educate moms where they can apply in the companies even after career gap. We take workshops on how to make CV, Linkedin Profile, etc. for free of cost. We also post job opportunities of various fields by searching through various portals. Also, time to time we give them mental support. We have worked with brands like J&J, ITC, Amazon, Dyson, Baby Dove, Jubilant, to name a few.
