Ruchira Hoon is a chef and food consultant. She runs are own consultancy firm called Nibbles & Co., and her own delivery kitchen called The Ruchira Kitchen where she does food from South India, Middle East and Pakistan. She has just opened Flow, a Micorbrewery & Bar as well as Evergreen Bakery, Bombay Club and Pizzeria 79 - with her consultancy. She was the Brand Chef at Ek Bar, a unit of Olive Bar and Kitchen She also hosts a series of workshops under the aegis Recipes with Ruchira and explores cuisines from the world over. She has worked as the Chef Partner at The Piano Man group, which includes the brands The Piano Man Jazz Club, Dirty Apron and The Piano Man Bakery. Over the span of her career, she has been a journalist, starting her stint at Deccan Chronicle and going on to serve as Asst. Editor at Hindustan Times and Sommelier India magazine as well as Delhi Bureau Head at Femina.
